Abandoned Spaces

Abandoned Spaces is all about nostalgia…about memories. Not real memories but imagined ones. Other peoples lives, other peoples memories, played back in time through an imaginary kaleidoscope. In a sense, these are not real pictures of real places. These are results of an altered reality. Each space touches me differently, coloured partly by actual circumstance and more by my perception of what might have been. So. while some spaces speak of pomp and grandeur, some whisper mystery and foreboding. Others recede into corners in quiet dignity. The altered tonalities or enhanced colours are not what the camera sees but are visible to me only, at a completely surreal level.
